  6.   references for quick retrieval and bibliography generation. These two
  7.   systems allow scientists to build and update a personalized data base of
  8.   references. The following article gives an overview of REFERENCE UPDATE and
  9.   REFERENCE MANAGER and provides a description of the various functions each
  10.   system offers.
